If you have a DSLR and a large lens, you must be serious. If you're a pro and carry a point and shoot, you'll be disregarded - even though I have a pro friend who carries a point and shoot in his shirt pocket because it powers on fast, compared to setting up the body and lens and all that he carries in the camera bag. Listen, these days everyone has cameras that are small, point and shoot.
