Please review the following Commercial Terms carefully, as they govern all transactions, purchases, and interactions conducted through our website. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Business Model & Pricing Structure
Something from Japan operates as an e-commerce platform offering Japanese trends and everyday products.
All products are sold at cost, with no profit added to product prices.
Instead of product markups, the following fees apply to standard orders:
• A fixed $12 order handling fee
• A 5.8% transaction fee
• Weight-based international shipping, calculated according to total order weight
This pricing structure ensures full transparency and allows customers to clearly understand how total costs are calculated.
Products & Availability
Most products are sourced from Japan. Some products may originate from other countries but are officially distributed and shipped from Japan.
Only products that are eligible for international shipping are listed for sale. Products that cannot be shipped internationally are not offered on the website.
Product availability may change without prior notice.
Standard Orders & Weight Policy
Shipping weight is calculated based on the combined weight of all products in the cart, including packaging.
The maximum allowed weight for a standard order is 3kg (3000g). Orders exceeding this limit cannot be completed and must be adjusted before checkout.
Shipping destinations and delivery costs are listed on the Shipping Weight & Delivery Cost page.
The estimated delivery time for standard orders is 15 to 25 days for all destinations. Delivery delays caused by customs authorities are outside our control.
Shipment tracking may not be available.
Bulk Orders & Wholesale Purchases
Bulk orders are available under separate conditions and are also sold at cost, with no profit added.
For bulk orders, the following fees apply:
• A fixed $250 handling fee per pallet
• A 5.8% transaction fee
• A delivery fee based on air or sea freight
Each pallet contains approximately 18 boxes.
The maximum bulk order size is 2 pallets, totaling approximately 36 boxes per order.
Bulk pricing, shipping method, and delivery timeline may vary depending on destination and logistics arrangements.
To request a bulk order, customers must fill out the Bulk Order Inquiry Form available on the Bulk Orders page. Bulk orders are reviewed and confirmed manually before payment.
Payments
All payments must be completed in full at the time of purchase.
We accept payment methods displayed at checkout. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
Prices do not include customs duties, VAT, or import taxes unless explicitly stated.
Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
All shipments are declared accurately in accordance with international shipping regulations. We do not undervalue shipments or mark them as gifts.
